8 am and looking good

Katie ... What can I say about Katie.  She knows exactly what to do.  Today was Katie's Senior pictures and man she Rocked the house.  This would be the 3rd time I have done a shoot with her and she was radiant.  I loved hanging out with her today since I drug her all over Huntsville/Madison.

I love the cd you made and thanks for leaving it with me it will inspire as I edit.  I can't wait for all my beautiful Seniors to see their images.  Here is the ever cool and collected Katie doing her thing all over town.

$5 dress

Let me start this by saying ... Man what a GREAT day... although long well worth it.  Miss. Grace set up a special session and we headed to the River.  Now for all of those who know me my husband has a jeep and he doesn't exactly trust me to drive it down BIG hills or in to rivers.  and I must say for several minutes I held my breath standing next to Jeni thinking " OHH man if that thing goes under he is so gonna blame me!"  Then my next thought was who will have to hick up the hill to get help and who can drag a jeep out of the river.  Not to worry the man has skills and there is a reason the Jeep is as cool as it is it can do anything!

So we started out session on land.. I told Grace she needed a throw away dress so we could hit the water and Grace is the kinda of girl that is up for anything.  She found the perfect $5 dress and it worked out so well.  I am beaming thinking about Grace as I type.  She is like my little sister that I never had and I totally adore her.  She puts up with so much(from me of course) and works at the studio part time so this is a session that we were really worked up about because our little Grace is growing up and very soon will be moving on her way ....that is a day I would like to put off a little longer because I so do enjoy her company!.. but I totally just rambled sorry bout that just can't believe how fast kids grow up and they need to stop that.

Grace was a trooper she let me drag her outside and it was 101 degrees out I was pouring sweat and for the first time in my life I was totally soaked just from sweat.  You would never know it looking at Grace.

It is that senior time of year again

School is about to start and how I know this .... well we are outside everyday trying to get our seniors done.  I am so excited to see all these beautiful faces come through our doors.

This is Sarah.  I had a session with her sister on her senior year, and they were sweet to come back to me.  I am honored as well.  It is so cool that they are starting their last year of High school.  There is no way even if i shouted it to let them know ENJOY it - this is one of the sweetest times of your life and you are a ROCK STAR.

This young women is so cool to hang out with.  We hit Green mountain and hung out.  Sarah let me torture her for some time before I let her go.  She was so awesome to work with and I can't wait for her Mother and her to come back in and see their images.

Cotton Candy

This little one is named Hyeyong (or Caitlynn).  She was one of the most delightful babies I have ever hung out with.  Hyeyong wasn't big on smiling at me but when she did she lights up a room.

Sweet sweet Arden Grace is getting so big- So today was my first time shooting in a long while we have had so many office days lately and allot of sickness running around.  That means I had a hankering to get out of the office so I drug Arden and her Mama out of the studio with the 100 percent humidity rocking our world we let the ants crawl on us because this is exactly what I envisioned.

I hope your 4th of July was super good and that July is being kind to you.  I can't believe we are just a few weeks from starting school again.  I am so excited to get the kids back into the learning groove again, I bet they are not thinking that but man I am.

I also want to give a SHOUT out to one of my loyal readers Mrs. Jenni!!! Everyone needs to give her an Internet high five as she lays on bed rest waiting for her little one to come hang out with us.  I found this song and even thou the chick is a little strange but interesting I love the words.  Here is a link to check out the vid and hear the song.  (ignore the creepy parts enjoy the walking on air parts:)  I am thinking about you keep on smiling.
