New entry-Rockin Cool Kid

Poter1 Hello Everyone! Welcome to Porter's World- Where 3 year olds Rule and are Super Cool! Porter was more than eager to have "Pancase Peep" ( that's Porterese for Pancake Pete) come and play with him. As you can see in our photos, Porter fully utilized their time together.

Porter and "Peep"s adventures together include Rocking Out!, cooking in the kitchen, and trips to see Daddy's firetruck, Porter's preemie cousin John Lucas, and to the park. Porter and "Peep" had a lot of fun hanging out together! Porter had to be creative because he knows that Big Brother Johnathan has been having fun with Pancake Pete too,

and is submitting an entry of his own-OH NO!!!!!!

New entry-Pancakes with Patty

Patty eating Pancakes Hello Kristin & fellow Whispers lovers'!  Well, Patty at Graduation Pancake Patty & Lindsey have a very busy social calendar and here is what they did.  First, they went to Samford University's college graduation and Real Life! neither Lindsey nor Patty could understand why they didn't get to wear the cool hats!  Then, Mom had to have surgery and was in the hospital for a while and here With Mom at Hospital is Pancake Patty visiting Mom. Lindsey was scared of the hospital so she let Pancake Patty do this one alone!  Thirdly, and this is what I thought was somewhat ironic - Lindsey and Pancake Patty sharing breakfast - which was none other than Patty's namesake - Pancakes!  But Patty didn't seem to mind.  Lastly, real life hits - it always does.  We went to eat lunch and Lindsey decided it was time to play in the flowers and the waterfall.  And she wanted Pancake Patty to help her!  I managed to snap a cute one before they got all wet!  Enjoy!

thanks,

So, I tried to think of something funny, but real life. The idea hit me after calling a friend of mine that has barely 2 year-old twin boys. I asked my friend what the boys were doing and she replied that one was swinging from the chandelier. I laughed cause I thought she was joking, and she said, seriously Allison, one is swinging from the chandelier.

My son is just 2 months younger and is certain to be swinging from the chandelier too, it's just a matter of time... so I thought my chandelier needed a little practice. Granted, Pancake Pete is about 30 pounds lighter then my son, Will. :)

Tell me, do you think there is any chance Mr. Attitude here will not be swinging from a chandelier?531093309503_0_ALB

Miss Shelby Brooks also Anna Lee who is Holden's Seattle2008_112 age, the kids had a great time playing.  Here are some photos of us outside of Seattle's famous fish market, and the famous farmers market, also a few of Pete at the space needle.  Hope you enjoy!

This is Brian's Grill

Whispersgrill_2 To the right you will find Brian's Grill, a magnificent silver spectrum of grilling love.  We used it a lot last year but have not used it much this year. Now that the weather is nice I was thinking it would be time to start grilling.

Yesterday husband informed me that there was a bird in the grill.  Since he told me this late at night and right before my passing out time, I thought he meant just found one hanging out... I didn't understand what he meant until I checked today.

A sweet, loving black bird made a home for herself and her 4 babies within the grill.  Every time our back door opens she flies out the back, ever pushing the comments from my friend Jorie and my Mother that we really should get a cover.

My favorite part is how the little bird has CRAMMED it all to the one side so when they are born we will have to be super careful because they will fall right out. They are on the far right corner toward the front.  I think it is charming and very funny that (1) we were so busy with our lives that we didn't even notice the f;urry of work going on to fill the grill with the dead grass and twigs and (2) the commitment it must have taken because my dogs are fast and they have been trying to catch these birds for awhile now without success.

So I guess we won't be grilling for a while.

Hope all are having a happy day.
