Blessed and Thankful

I knew I would never get my cards out this year.  I tried I had the best intentions.  I got us to the studio we took the pictures..... and then NOTHING.  So this is my card this year.

I am blessed to have this life and I am grateful to spend another year with my family which I adore.  I weeded through what had to be a 100 songs and this is the one that spoke to me how I feel about this year and this life.

I hope you all find your joy and treasure every minute we have.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Big Brothers

Today Grant was in studio - we did so many cool shots and this one just grabbed me.  I am so stoked I get to take his little brother's newborn pictures and totally love that we got to capture Grant with his Mom before he has to take on his new big brother job.

Here is Grant, Mom and in the tummy is Gavin.

We were waiting for you!

This little one did not want to make a jump in to this world.  He knew what a good thing he had going with his Mom, so he stayed as long as he could.

I remember his mom's first phone call to say that she wasn't going to be able toWhispers120207 do our session due to the fact the baby was not here yet. How sad she sounded then...

I also recall the second - she was not any happier.  When the  next call came that YES he was here, I was so excited.  Then I got SICK, so I couldn't go over and see him.

So today was the day and, many hours later, we have some really cool images.

I had a blast hanging out with your whole family today, Mr. Landon. Your big brother Drew is going to be an awesome teacher on the ways of how to be a cool little boy.

Here is a little sneak peek. I am so stoked about this because Landon's family and I worked hard on it. If you look close to the left of the image, you will see big brother Drew peeking in on all the action.

Thanks for letting me come over. I hope Landon sleeps !!!

My Babies!!

Whispers1201207_2 I have had this goal - some might find it funny. I have wanted to take pictures of my dogs.  No time like now, so here they are.  I couldn't get a good image of my biggest dog. He was so excited that I had treats in my pocket that he couldn't even sit down.

My little ones, though...they were another story.  Little Max weighs about 11 pounds and is my sweet little professor dog.  When he looks at you, you can almost imagine little spectacles sitting on the end of his nose.  What was so funny is that he is AWAKE in this shot. He was lying down and letting me move him and get him set up.  Whispers120107_2

Then there was Lucy, my new baby - she is only a few months old. She will only get to be about 6-8 pounds.  She was totally  freaking out and wanted to lick everything.  The fact that I was laying on the floor was so cool to her that she couldn't calm down.  I was lucky to get her to be still at all.

So here is the littlest of our pups...

Have a great weekend.
