Melissa

Waddell498f_2 What an interesting week.  I have been very sick all week and was wanting to feel better for this Waddell123ff session.  I wish shooting sessions was 90 percent of my day/life because that is the very best part :)

Well what can I say about Melissa.  She is a sweet young woman.  She is the last baby to be leaving her home.   Hanging out with her is very cool.   I could feel her mom and dad watching over her during the shoot. They were keeping their distance so we could do our thing, but there the moments when we Waddell669f needed them.  I hope my kids like me as much when they are older.

Senior sessions always get me thinking.  Newborn and senior sessions to me are kinda the same thing.  Newborn is the start of something and senior is the end of one thing and then the start of something new.  I get all watery when I think about my kids leaving me to go grow up and be who they need to be.

Now I am all watery-:)

Enjoy your weekend.

Make that one face!

Hudson352f_2 I did a session today with a sweet young woman named Katelyn.Hudson488f_2

I was so excited to see her this morning bright and early.  We started off slow but slowly started to mesh and she started to come out of her shell.  I love all these images because it looks like  a different girl in each one.

Thanks so much for coming today, Kate. See you very soon.

Here is a quick sneak peek...

I will see you again

I have been running like crazy to keep up.  I am currently about to lose what will be my 4th studio manager.  NOT to fear...we have a new one coming in who is just as cool.  Bettye will be missed and I am happy I got to know her.  I will post some stuff about her a little later.

I was asked to photograph a family that I had done last year and was so excited to get to see them again.  It is amazing how much one year has changed them and how much growing up had gone on in such a short time.

I am honored that I had the chance to hang out with his whole family again.
