Did you know it was gonna rain?

So I have this cool senior named Samantha who came to visit with me this Saturday.  I was so excited and had so much going on in my mind, that we both did not see all the storm clouds gathering to darken our session.  I think we moved even faster and got even cooler shots due to the weather moving in on us. I am so excited with all of them, but I will show just one for now.

This image makes you look SO grown up.  Samantha, you are a fantastic young woman! Thanks for coming to see me, and I will see you very soon to finish up what the rain ended.

The little lion sleeps!

Okay, here is little Mackenzie and this little girl KNOWS what she wants. I totally respect that all that way.  Thing is, I am still bigger than her. I will get her to sleep if only for a little while :)

Her sweet Mom and Dad were pretty chilled out and let me do just about anything. I had this vision - in my head pretty much since they emailed me the pictures of them in her room.  I was so happy to pull it off.

I know I am a tease, Ashley, but there are so many good ones and it will rock when you get to see them on the big screen.

I will call this one "Little Lion."

Okay, Ella Pearl is the little sister to Avery. Avery is one of my very first Bebe Planners and looking at her being such a big girl is so COOL.  Well, the sweet apple does not fall far from the tree because Ella Pearl is one sweet newborn.  Miss Pearl, as I like to call her, burst on to the scene last week and has added, from what I can tell, nothing but more joy and smiles to her family.

I am thankful that their Daddy got the garage cleared and had his bike (that I hope his wonderful caring wife NEVER makes him sell) all cleaned up - do you think that worked?!?!  This session ROCKED and I have so many good images that I am going to tease their parents with this one AWESOME shot.

I will call it "Cruising."

Sea Shell Baby

I am truly, truly grateful for all my clients.  I have been so blessed for so many years now to meet some of the coolest people. 

I say all of this before posting a pic because I need to give you some back history before I go on.  Sweet Andrea had to move on to a new job.  She got a position doing what will move her towards the career for which she went to school.   That  REALLY rocks for her.  Now, saying all that, it has left a HUGE hole here at Whispers.  Andrea was one of those cool cats that you meet only a few times in a lifetime and she will be missed!!

So if you are wondering why the blog has not been updated, this is why.  Everything is kinda in flux because we are growing and Andrea was one of the main components in making this happen for Whispers.  She was one of the cool people I have meet along the way.  We will miss her and wish her the best of luck!!! 

Now, on to a very sweet family that really stole my heart today. Their little one just left the NICU this past Friday.  He was born on June 23 and isn't even due until September.  He is a JOY to be around and just listening to his little sounds is amazing.  I hung out with his parents today for a while and REALLY enjoyed myself.  One thing that really got me was that, when they spoke to Hayden he, LISTENED. When he heard their tones and voices he calmed down - it was amazing.  The connection was beautiful and I am so happy I got to witness it.

So here is Hayden, one sweet boy. His daddy said something that really got me during the session, and I think it holds true for anyone who meets this little one - "Hayden, you make my heart sing."
