For everyone that follows the blog we had a contest and we think it stinks if you don't get to see some of the winners and how they did - Well here is our 2nd Place winner Caden- The things that come out of this little guys mouth are the BEST - he is just one of those super fantastic people you meet and sit back in awe of. We really enjoyed meeting him and we are so happy his Mom entered him into our contest.

Well, it has been crazy around here. I have not had time to post many sessions and I am sorry for that. We have had some real sweet kids come through the doors in the past week and I have been so excited about each session.
I grabbed a few of my favorites really quick before I am off to the next session- I promise to post some more later.
The top session is MOLLY. SHE IS 2 - I can't believe how time flies. I can remember doing her very first session thinking "MAN, this kid is so tiny." Now she is a big girl and LOVES to paint/use markers. I don't really know a kid that doesn't like to
do that. We have had much of that going on lately which is something I really 
like:)
This sweet family came in and was so much fun to play with that we ended up doing a session for each of them, stylized to each of them. I just love the cowboy look - and big sister looks so good in her dress. If you check back through the blog you will see how much baby sister has grown. She is a little doll.

The best part is they are not shy and share their life with you. Thanks for letting us come over and play to today we had a ball. Now here is what 4 looks like....
These two beautiful people stopped by last week for a quick session. We are doing and ad with Posh Mommy and she hired me to do her Grandchildren and her lovely Daughter. I love the color but there is something about toned image. So keep your eye out and stop by Posh Mommy in Madison. What is REALLY cool about her store is it never stays the same she has new things coming in all the time.
Sleep all day hanging out with me!!! Meet Tucker Brother to Ella Grace one of the coolest little princesses in Birmingham! This little Prince has got one of the neatest families - He will NEVER have a dull moment with his crew around.
Tuck came to visit today for his newborn portraits and was a ANGEL! I felt REALLY bad due to the fact he didn't sleep real well last night but that panned out for us well on the session.
Meet Tucker-
Since the what I am calling "THE FALL" I have only been able to shoot twice and only because it was in studio. This sweet little girl is named Lilly and she is something to behold.
Here Grandma and I tried it all to make her laugh while her Mother and her looked at us like we were crazy:) Of course in a good way. You could jump up and down and turn into a duck but if you wanted to make Lilly Baker laugh you BETTER be a funny duck!!
What made this shoot a little easier for me was Lilly doesn't move out of the crawl position allot while shooting so she was and easy target for me and my camera.
I am happy I got to shoot something the past few weeks I was missing it so.
If you tried to email me this past week you might have gotten a message saying I would be out of the office until June 11th....I'm Back!!! It looks like Kristin really missed me too :)

My husband and I spent a week at Lake Tahoe.
While there we took in the amazing views and experienced some extreme heights.
While everyone back home in Alabama was experiencing extreme heat we had snow!!!
All in all it was an amazing trip and we can't wait to go back for an anniversary!!!!
