Today in a nutshell:)
I KNOW I really do know how blessed I am in my life... so as you read what I am about to type you will smile and your probably won't cry like I have and will:) but as Kaitlynn said to me today it will make One FUNNY story one day.
Today I got to hang out with Morgan and her Husband to be Josh- They are exactly what you want your children to grow up to be, good adults they are so incredible together they are the perfect match! We were doing their engagement photos downtown my new favorite spot to hang out. I was on the prowl for new spots and got all kinds of excited when I saw a table sitting out and I was walking and not LOOKING down....... NOW break back two years ago once again walking without looking I took a nice tumble down a little hill and sprained my ankle REALLY bad I had to cancel all my sessions for a week and still ended up working most of it due to schedules not working out.... NOW break to now... here I am walking NOT looking and BAM I walk into a pot hole in the grass next to the cobblestone sidewalk.. I HEARD my ankle pop and as I am falling and slamming full body into the ground all I can hear is the new replacement camera hitting the ground.
NOW have you ever heard a camera hit the ground at full speed like that it is like a boulder hitting cement ....it is the sound of my heart breaking... SEE I got the new camera (yestereday) so I could send the old camera back and lets face it they ain't cheap:)
SOOOOOOOOO.... I just laid for a minute because the pain was bad and I could feel this wasn't good and just needed a minute... My sweet clients were there to help me, and when the tears came and OH yes they came, it was for the pain and for the fact we weren't done with the session and I had so many more ideas.
2 phone calls later I had a my old camera back in my hands ripped from the box where it should of been going back to the shop a husband running to a camera shop to see if we could fix the new one ... and a session That MUST go on:)
All these images are AFTER the spill I couldn't get on the ground after the fall I really did hurt myself and will be at the doctors for a long time tomorrow. My ankle looks like it has a baseball coming off the side and I can't walk well at all.. and what really stinks is I really need a pedicure now I have to keep looking at my toes because I can't wear my shoes at all.
To all my wonderful clients that I had to reschedule I am SOOOOO SORRY- I know I can't give it my all right now I have to fix the ankle and we will be back on track and we will get those
beautiful shots.
So here is the totals for today-
One broken ankle, One CRACKED new camera, One bruised ego and a TON of GREAT images of two fantastic, patient people that are going to make the best couple and I can't wait for them to start their journey together.
Girlfriend!!!! YOU FREAKIN ROCK!!!!!!!! That is my one determined photographer. WOW!! I am extremely impressed with not only the shots but... the determination to keep on going. It definitly shows that you LOVE and are COMMITTED to achieving the perfect memory for your clients.
LOVE YA!!!
MISS YOU MUCH!!!

You guys are great- Okay so after two trips to the doctor we have the verdict- my tendons (is that how you spell that???) strechted so much that they wrapped around and broke off pieces of my ankle bone so there are shards just hanging out in my ankle. I am in a boot trying to get the swelling to go down and there is alot of swelling. I have the best pain pills and I can't drive;) - I have to go back in two weeks to see what the next step is it is sooooo swollen that they can't cast it and I am not sure i would want them to showering is hard enough I can't even start to think what bathing woudl be like. I have been told I have really weak ankles and that maybe I should wear hightop shoes:) LOL----- WELL we will see.
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers I am taking it easy as long as I can to let it heal and let the swelling come down. I will keep you posted:)
Hugs to Morgan and Josh- I am sorry this happened to you all I wanted that day to be perfect for you but now we have a really cool story:)

Healing nice- it hurts like something I have never felt before but I am able to deal with it I am not as quick as I use to be and I am also not able to just fall to the ground to shoot without a lot of pain.
I am to wear the boot for 2 more weeks then to some kinda of werid sock thing to give my ankle support.
I find that shooting with it on is a REAL pain and it is living inbtween my desk and my foot and somtimes in my car becuase I can't drive with it on:)
Thanks for asking I can't wait to see you guys it is really boring not shooting and I miss it so much.
