Today in a nutshell:)

I KNOW I really do know how blessed I am in my life... so as you read what I am about to type you will smile and your probably won't cry like I have and will:) but as Kaitlynn said to me today it will make One FUNNY story one day.

Today I got to hang out with Morgan and her Husband to be Josh- They are exactly what you want your children to grow up to be, good adults they are so incredible together they are the perfect match!  We were doing their engagement photos downtown my new favorite spot to hang out.  I was on the prowl for new spots and got all kinds of excited when I saw a table sitting out and I was walking and not LOOKING down....... NOW break back two years ago once again walking without looking I took a nice tumble down a little hill and sprained my ankle REALLY bad I had to cancel all my sessions for a week and still ended up working most of it due to schedules not working out.... NOW break to now... here I am walking NOT looking and BAM I walk into a pot hole in the grass next to the cobblestone sidewalk.. I HEARD my ankle pop and as I am falling and slamming full body into the ground all I can hear is the new replacement camera hitting the ground.

NOW have you ever heard a camera hit the ground at full speed like that it is like a boulder hitting cement ....it is the sound of my heart breaking... SEE I got the new camera (yestereday) so I could send the old camera back and lets face it they ain't cheap:)

SOOOOOOOOO.... I just laid for a minute because the pain was bad and I could feel this wasn't good and just needed a minute... My sweet clients were there to help me, and when the tears came and OH yes they came, it was for the pain and for the fact we weren't done with the session and I had so many more ideas.

2 phone calls later I had a my old camera back in my hands ripped from the box where it should of been going back to the shop a husband running to a camera shop to see if we could fix the new one ... and a session That MUST go on:)

All these images are AFTER the spill I couldn't get on the ground after the fall I really did hurt myself and will be at the doctors for a long time tomorrow.  My ankle looks like it has a baseball coming off the side and I can't walk well at all.. and what really stinks is I really need a pedicure now I have to keep looking at my toes because I can't wear my shoes at all.

To all my wonderful clients that I had to reschedule I am SOOOOO SORRY- I know I can't give it my all right now I have to fix the ankle and we will be back on track and we will get those beautiful shots.

So here is the totals for today-

One broken ankle, One CRACKED new camera, One bruised ego and a TON of GREAT images of two fantastic, patient people that are going to make the best couple and I can't wait for them to start their journey together.

2 years old!!! that is where this little one is - Miss. L really was fun we have been working together for so long that once she remembers she likes me it is old hat for her:)

Thanks to her Mom running around and dancing we got allot of smiles out of her- I love this kids eyes they have always been striking and the pink just sets them off.

Two Angels

Liam and Parker ..............hmmm... just to say those two names makes me smile.

Okay these two are a year apart and are probably two of the funniest kids you will EVER meet.  With siblings you never know who is going to have an on day or an off day.  Well Liam started off on an off day and moved Right into the on category.  Parker was always on and gave me thumbs up and showed me he is the coolest every step of the way.  The goal was Angel shots and I love what we got.  I have always been able to get these two hugging and I JUST love it.  They are two of the only kids that will look at me when they hug and they have such a range of expressions they can go from sad to happy in a nano second.

Their sweet Mom drove them all the way to Huntsville for our session from their home in Georgia. I hope they had a good trip because these two deserve a Lumber Jack breakfast after the work out they had today at their session.

Thanks Liam and Parker for meeting with me today to play.  I will see you again soon.

The Sun is out for you!

Wow I don't even know where to start this post... There is allot on my mind to say.  Well let me start here My camera broke today a piece that is important to the viewing half fell OUT!! lucky for me it was AFTER my session.  Don't worry if you are coming tomorrow I have 3 back ups it is just my favorite camera.  In-fact I can still use it it is just weird now.... SO needless to say it is going back to the shop. WELL Let me see Andrew- What an amazing little boy.  If you have ever done a newborn session with me you know we take our time and wait it out till we get what we want and today was no different for me.

I SO enjoyed hanging out with this family they are full of life, a sense of humor and are down to earth and I know I like them because their boy peed on me and I didn't even know and they were already saying "OH Kristin we are so sorry" LOL that is how I know kid likes me they pee on me:).

Thank you for sharing your  stories with me and letting me into your lives today.  I am sorry Andrew never got to meet his Nana but I know she is watching over him and giving him angel kisses everyday!  My favorite image is every image it brings tears to my eyes to see the love you all have for your son and each other.

                           

Did you all have the BEST DAY EVER??

Well I hope you all had a GREAT Mother's day!!! It feels like forever since I posted.  Well Mother's day has come and gone and I forgot to pull out my camera believe it or not so I am without images of my Best day ever.  For all of those that know me that is how I gear my husband up for this Holiday I keep repeating those words to him and my children as the day gets closer and closer and then say it a lot the entire day:)

I think Mother's day is better than a birthday because EVERYONE knows it is going on and EVERYONE is nice to you on this day no matter what.  I can tell you it doesn't happen on your birthday like that :)

Well we had a Session with a sweet family and the image I like the best is the one where Lacy, the daughter, is holding her Mom tight but still looking for her doll she calls Blue-

So here are a few from a recent session I hope you all had the BEST DAY EVER this past Sunday and know now that you have to start a week early gearing up your family for just how important it is:)

Tea party queen

  This sweet family has been in my life for a long time now.  I did her older brothers pictures when they were in preschool and hers her first year.  I can't believe how much she has grown.

Her Mom wanted to do a tea party and really highlight who she is and that is a QUEEN!

I love how she plays off her sibling they adore her and would do anything  for her EVEN play tea party.

SO here is Winnie with her Brothers Jackson and Wilder.

Sister to the first-

This little one is sister to one of the first babies I ever put on a chair.  He was the sweetest baby and it runs in the family because his little sister is just as sweet.

I could no believe how much ALIKE they are it is like looking at a smaller version of her big brother Drew-

Baby Addison has had a difficult time starting out having to go back to the hospital and her Mom has had a hard time as well.  I was so happy when they were able to come see me today.

We are having a rush of newborns and we are loving it.  At one point we were not sure she was going to be able to go back to sleep, this little one LOVES to look all around.  Mom worked really hard to get her out cold and then we were able to get some cool shots   Here is little Addison.
