Two sweet boys!

Today was a very cool day.  I visited with two clients that boys are both finishing their Bebe plans.  I am super sad because one is moving to Texas and I am not sure when I will get to see them again. 

  My first shoot of the morning was a super sweet boy Mr. J- He has grown so much hair it is hard to believe he is a big boy now.  It seems like yesterday we were trying to get him to sit up in the studio and he would just look at us and smile like we were crazy. 

Now my next one was a kid on the move as well.. MR. D- he is totally cool! 

He is going to be a big brother soon and be living in Texas..... I am hopeful that I can go out there to visit with him and my other clients that rock and get to meet his little brother maybe sister...I forgot to tell you I am shooting for a girl I think she would give Mr. D a run for his money:)

LOVE – LARGER THAN LIFE” CONTEST

Sometimes it is really easy to get caught up in life's mubo jumbo.  The other day I came home totally exhausted from a busy day-  sat down in a chair.  My soon to be 5 year old daughter brought me a blanket and told me "Mommy you need to keep warm.  I don't want you catching the fever!"   I couldn't help but laugh it was still 78 degrees out and here I am being covered by nurse Bella whose by the way face is covered with Oreo cookie dust from shoving them into her mouth moments before.

So as I sat there very warm I was admiring this HUGE image on my wall.  I ended up doing this in a 40x60 canvas.  I thought at first like so many of my clients that it was to big....what would I do with it...will I regret it.... and I got to tell you EVERYDAY I look at it and I just smile.  That canvas is probably the best art purchase I have ever made.

When we first got it Joey my 10 year old said "Mom I can't believe you put that one with me and my tongue".  I had to explain to him how much I love that picture.  Since he was a little baby he has been doing that weird thing with his tongue and it is pretty darn cool!  I can't even get mine out of my mouth that far SO why not showcase it <grin>

So in honor of my children I am going to hold a contest- well more like a give away.

I bet your thinking what is she going to give away well I will tell ya - ONE 40x60 wrap around canvas collage with your child's funny faces on it. 

NOW I know your thinking WHAT do I have to do to enter this.  This part is easy all you have to do is write me an email and send me an image of your child(children)  let me know why you think your child(Children) should have their fantastic faces plastered all over a super cool canvas with tiny words of wisdom surrounding the wrap around edges.

IT is that EASY- What do you got to loose not a darn thing but sharing just how great you think your KIDS are.  They are only little once and then BAM they are driving as my Father in law would say so REMEMBER these moments don't let it pass you by.

1- Anyone can enter- that does not mean everyone will win.  There is no age limit - your kid can be in High school or preschool they are still your KID!!

2- All entries must go to kristin@whispersphotography.com and MUST be received by April 13th 2007 by Midnight.

3-No obligation to buy - YOU do not have to buy a THING. Session must be done at Madison Al. Studio.  Whispers must also be given permission to tell your story on our Blog.

4-Canvas may not be used toward the purchase of other pictures- Canvas is the prize and can not be substitute for anything else.  No coupons or other offers are valid with these winnings.

5- Email must have full name of parent, address, phone and email where we can reach you.  Picture Must be taken by you!!!

Okay so I come in to work today and find my email box starting to fill up with stories that are making me cry and laugh.  Andrea and I decided that we were going to have a 2nd and a 3rd place as well. 

2nd place will be 1 20x20 Wrap around canvas filled with funny faces

3rd Place will be 3 7x7 wrap around canvas with one funny sweet face on EACH canvas

Can you take my picture

I have NEVER been so nervous to meet someone before as I was today.  Dave is an AWESOME photographer he has this eye that is killer and he gets how things should look.  Check out his site here at David H photo.  He is doing Andreas wedding and I am so EXCITED about it I can't stand it.  Well today Dave came by to have a photo done for his website and I hope he likes something we did because I REALLY like what he already had.

Andrea picked this one really quick.... We both though you look hmmmm... like your part of a mob family in it:) LOL- no you look cool -

Sweet little Girl

It is hard to believe that at one time I could fit this little girl  on a a chair asleep.  She is truly a big girl now and so much fun to hang out with Miss. K she is a GREAT kid.  I am so sad that her Bebe plan is over but I know I will see her in the future. 

Totally Crazy but totally COOL!

                            

  I pulled about 10 images to show from crazy today- We had so many cute kids in this studio today it was CRAZY- everyone was so excited to see the baby ducks.

  OH - by the way to all those Moms out there that were worried- they are doing GREAT and are safe and warm and just really tired from playing with the kids (or should I say RUNNING) all day.

We started at Nine this morning and did not stop until about 5:30 - We are so tired but it was totally worth it.

Thanks you to all the Moms that brought in their little ones and big ones we had fun!!

We can't wait to show you your session thanks for coming to play with us today.

They are soooo SWEET

Okay - THIS was so cool.  If you have been on the fence about coming tomorrow you need to call right now and book we just had one more spot open up so right now we have a 3:30 and a 4:30-

Mr. J came in today to see the Ducks and help me check my lighting and to just check out those ducklings.

Lady I don't want to Wear these

Okay- So Josiah REALLY put up with us.  He kept telling me he didn't want to wear these so a crafty Andrea is holding them hiding behind him. 

We had done this angel shot with his mom when she was pregnant with him so we are ending the book with the same look.  He was so tolerant and gave the best expressions ever.

I am sad that this is the end of our Bebe Love Plan together and I hope I get to see them more as this little one grows bigger and bigger.

They JUST LIKE each other:)

When you meet people that REALLY like each other you can tell -- It is pretty cool to see.  These two like each other and it shows.

We didn't get to do the big sisters due to the fact a pink cast was involved and wouldn't really add anything to the pictures.  So hopefully they will be able to come back with the entire family.

This time we did Mom and Dad.  Two cool parents that had an incredible amount of patience with me:)  Their little one was so tired but just didn't want to give up.  She totally loved just looking around. 

Mom got her down after a few failed attempts we managed to get these GREAT shots.  I can not wait to show them their entire session.

Here and There

Hats are so important to my photography.  They first distract and second they just look darn cute this little one is so sweet. 

She really doesn't get mad and will let you do just about anything with her.  If you check back in the blog a few months back she is the little one swaddled in her Field behind her home.  She has really been growing. 

when I look at her I can see parts of her brother and sister in her they too are amazing kids.

A baby in a belly!

  It is so cool to watch a family grow.  I remember when we did this for this little one when she was in her Moms tummy.  Now she is going to be a big sister and they will have 4 people in their family.  It dawned on me while I was hanging out with them that saying that is the coolest thing ever.  You go along you meet someone you fall in love and you make a family and then you can go to a restaurant and fill a table of four.  It has got to be the coolest thing ever. Since her newborn pics rocked I know this little guys will as well.  Isabella I just can't wait to meet you little brother.
