{when can we go back???}

This vacation has been 10 years in the making.. Since Joey was born I told him one day we would get to Disney World and 2007 was our year.  We the Farnsworth/Wood family have had a GREAT/STRANGE year.  This past year my Mom and Dad moved to Huntsville (that is the great part;) we all discovered how much family means to each of us and we celebrated our first year in a new house we had built from the ground up a HUGE goal I wanted to reach before I turned 30 - which unfortunately happened to me in 2007 a few days ago ---- STILL upset about this.:)

The strange part came when we found out that Joey has alopecia late last year- what that means is his white blood cells are attacking his hair and it is falling out which REALLY sucks.  We all know in the greater scheme of things this is a little thing to have but when your 10 it looks big.

That is when we decided this trip could wait no longer we needed to get away.

This trip was my chance to leave my Camera behind ----- WHAT did I just say leave my camera behind YES I did  Brian and I decided that we didn't want to lug my stuff with us on this trip so he invested in a Canon power shot sd630 digital elph:)

I mess around with this thing so much and when I was done could just drop it into the husband pocket :)  It was fun to have that freedom everything didn't have to be perfect could just be for me.

I Let the kids have the camera much of the time and I LOVE everything Joey got - he has got and eye!! Bella takes pictures of feet and belly's nothing past a grown ups waist:).

When I asked the kids what they thought about our trip on the way home- Bella answered

"Cinderella was so cute I just love the princess"

Joey was sad and said he couldn't wait to get back.

My thoughts were I look at these images and they tell a story that makes me smile- I forced my Mom to sit down and look at all of them and for each image I have a story - that is the cool part about photography they always tell a story and I am happy I decided to work on mine for a while:)

here are the some of the highlights from the trip we took over 600 images I just pulled some to show. click an image to see it bigger.

{What a GREAT start}

Came in today to do a session that has been in the works for over a year - This family is VERY COOL-   Their family has just moved back to the Nashville area from Bham and has ton of things going on.  They boys Dad and I set up this session Nov. 2005 as a gift for Mom and have finally got to meet and do the session.  I was so excited to be doing a brothers session.

They have three boys Ezekiel, Noah, and Caleb- The minute they walked in boy fashion they first checked out my toy situation and then promptly gave me a hug!

Each of them are so full of energy, love and so much expression.  There is this very cool thing that happens during a session where things just kind of melt together and click- it happened today and I think it is pretty cool when you can get three boys under 10 to look at you in-between jumping around and playing -

Below are some shots of "The Boys"

Thank you for brining your boys to me today I am so lucky to have met you all -
