Pictures for Melissa

Blogpicwhispers

Children love playing dress up, right? How about dressing up your child in a fun costume and helping out a great cause at the same time?

Chris and I are so excited about the upcoming Halloween party at Whispers Photography in Madison. The owner, Kristin Farnsworth, has agreed to photograph kids in their Halloween costumes, with all the proceeds going to the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund. Kristin has taken such incredible pictures of our daughter Ann Catherine and we are thrilled about the opportunity to partner with her to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children. She LOVES kids and has a way of truly capturing the essence of being a child.

We hope you will consider dressing your little one up and stopping by for a picture.

Right now, the NICU at Huntsville Hospital is in critical need of more cardiac monitors. The unit is currently bursting at the seams with babies and there just aren't enough monitors to go around. Our hope is through this fundraiser, and with money we raised at our First Annual Swim for Melissa event in August, we'll be able to buy these much-needed monitors for the babies in NICU. Your donation gives hope to premature babies and their parents. As the mother of two premature babies, I can tell you, there is no greater gift. From the bottom of my heart, I say thank you.

We hope to see you in October

21st from 1-6 pm at Whispers Photography in Madison!

Sincerely,

Amy George

The Whispers Team-

We are FAMILY!

This was the first session for me where I met the entire family...and let me tell you they are all so fun to be around.  This cabin has been in their family for some time. It was moved to Huntsville and is now on her family's property.  I could have stayed with them all day but by the end the kids were starting to stray so I knew my time was up.

Thank you  Efimenko family for letting me hang out with you.

When I grow up

I want to be a what??? that is a big question.  I have asked every Senior that has come in to our shop and I always get the same answer "I don't know yet" usually followed by some career that sounds like it would be cool.  Well don't worry most of us are still trying to figure out what we will be when we grow up.

This is Kyle - His answer to my question- I don't know.... I want to make lots of money!!

He is a football player and always dabbles in MANY other sports-  I love his love for the games he plays.  From what I can see he puts his entire being into what he does - that is how I know he will be a GREAT Adult!!!

Thanks for hanging out with me today Kyle I KNOW it was Torture:)  I hope Alabama wins!

Little Man

This little gentleman is one of those kids that just draws you in.  He is full of spunk and smiles.

When I got to his house his Dad walked me around and I was just drawn back to their red room.  I LOVED the red room.  I can't wait to meet his sisters.

Mr. Simon slept for a little while but woke up and was all smiles for us.

Here is Mr. Simon-
